What is Music Together®?

Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddler, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them.  First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

Is my child too young? too old?

Children from birth to 5 are welcome, with their parent or caregiver.  Activities focus on adult / child interaction, rather than child / child, so children of all ages can experience the music all together in the same class.

What if my child isn’t musical?

ALL children are musical.  Music is as much a basic life skill as walking and talking. Ongoing research shows that all children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence and pleasure in the music of our culture, provided their early environment supports such learning.

What if I’m not musical?  What can I, as a parent, do?

The parent or caregiver is as much a student as the child. Parental enjoyment is the single most important factor in fostering a love of music making in children.  Try a class and see how important - and fun - your role can be!

What if I have more than one child?

Bring them!  Siblings receive tuition discounts, and babies under 8 months are free with an enrolled sibling!
